“16 and pregnant…”

I was able to talk to my little sister for the first time in years today. We were all taken away from my mom five years ago, and her and my other little sister were adopted by parents who disagreed with my family talking to them. Anyways, she found me on Facebook and messaged me. I didn’t know who the heck she was, considering her last name was changed and everything. “Morgan Campbell” popped up. Confused, I added her. As soon as I did I get message that say, “OMG!! Christina its Morgan! your FAVORITE little sister!! Well….we need to talk! Call me or txt me at (not giving that part out) i love you!!” So, of course me being the happiest girl in the world sends her a text! She tells me she is MARRIED!! I look on her Facebook to find ultrasound pictures…I text her back saying, “And you are pregnant??” She goes on to tell me she is six months pregnant and finding out the sex of the baby today. I was in shock!! My little baby sister is all grown up!  

I am in shock, but I know my sister is smart. She told me she is going to continue going to school and plans to keep on with her future plans, which made me so happy. I wish things could have been different for her, but I know for a fact she will be a great mom. She is so sweet and loving. I am proud of her. Why? Because she is my sister, and she is carrying my niece. I will now have a niece and a nephew, and I am the happiest aunt. I love Ethan with all my heart, and I already love baby Jessica just as much. They are a part of my small family, and I love them very much.
